Chief Inspector Gary Raymond APM, OAM (Ret’d) joins Jim and Darryn in the first of many of a series of episodes exploring his policing and trauma support career. In this episode Gary shares how he caught the service bug when he was 4, trained with St John’s Ambulance, joined Ambulance NSW and then NSW Police Rescue. Gary recounts the horrors of the Granville Train disasters and shares a story of hope that came out of tragedy.
